A day of fun:)

Last Saturday (28th March), I had a fantastic day filled with excitement. Haha..well..its not like i went for rock climbing or hiking or anything of that kind which most ppl would link to excitement or adventure. But, i was really excited cos we were going to places we never went before. other than the night event.

I met up with jon at around 12 and took the train to alljunied station. After that we walked to lorong 17 to find the restaurant that he had picked for lunch. Haha..took awhile to find that place but the sweat was worth it as the food was really good.

Alright, after lunch we proceed to our next destination which is the BIG SPLASH!:D

Actually, the main reason why we went to big splash was that we wanted to see the flea market/ garage sale. Hmm..but sadly, there wasnt much to look at. Oh ya, theres was this man who offered to teach us some massage therapy with some lotion and iced towel. lol. He was wearing angel's wing. Haha. but we decided not to patronise him cos its feels quite weird to do all those things when we were sweaty. Plus, we dun really want to spend 10 bucks on this kinda thing. lol.

Thus... since theres wasnt any spectacular things at the garage sale, we decided to go to the waters and pick some seashells instead.:))

We lazed around at the beach untill 6 plus before proceeding to our third destination for the day, ESPLANADE PARK!:)) The night event was to participate in the 60 earth hour held there.:))

Many people went for the earth hour event/campaign and its quite nice to know that many singaporeans actually take note and are willing to take part in such environmental campaigns. :))

Went to the bridge to get a better view of the buildings..

Hmm.. i thought that they will off the lights on the entire 'durian shell' but sadly they didn't. So, the whole place is still quite bright. Only maybank and uob had their entire building switched off. Other than that all other buildings are like half half. So in conclusion, we were a little disappointed cos its still so BRIGHT. -.-

We went down the bridge to the park and sat on the pinic mat untill 9.30pm. Hahah.. i lay down and fell asleep. :P Sorry was quite tired by that time. Hahaz.:D

After i woke up, i mean i got up when they are goin to on the lights back, we hear the speech made by dunno who and we left the place with everybody.

Went to orchard for a drink at indochine. But we only managed to stay and watch a bit of the soccer match as the open air veri smelly part of the pub was full house and the air conditioned inside was closed already. Haha. too bad for us.

We went home at around... eleven plus. :))

All in all, i had much fun that day and i totally enjoyed myself!:)))
